What is Patrovix and who is it for?
Patrovix is a cloud-based security operations platform (SaaS) built for UK and international security guard companies and in-house security departments. It replaces disconnected tools — spreadsheets, paper rotas, WhatsApp, and generic HR software — with a single, purpose-built system that covers scheduling, compliance, patrol management, incident reporting, timesheets, and client reporting.
Does Patrovix handle BS7858:2019 compliance?
Yes — BS7858:2019 compliance is a core module, not an add-on. Patrovix guides you through every required vetting section: identity verification, DBS checks, right-to-work, employment history, address history, references, medical assessment, and declarations. Each section tracks pending/in-progress/verified/failed status, auto-calculates the overall compliance status, and activates the guard account only once all required checks pass.
Can Patrovix verify SIA licences automatically?
Yes. Patrovix connects to the SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence register API and performs live verification by licence number or by name and date of birth. Verification results — including licence role, sector, status, and expiry date — are stored against the guard's compliance record and trigger audit log entries automatically.
How does the guard onboarding process work?
Managers invite guards via email. Guards complete a structured digital onboarding form — uploading identity documents, providing employment history, Next of Kin details, right-to-work documents, and accepting declarations. The submitted data flows directly into the BS7858 vetting workflow where compliance staff can verify each section, request references, and run SIA checks. Guards only get portal access once they are fully verified.
Does Patrovix support subcontractor management?
Yes. Patrovix includes a dedicated subcontractor module. You can add external security providers, assign them to specific client sites, manage their guard rosters, and give them a filtered portal view covering their dashboard, assigned guards, schedules, and reports — without exposing your entire operation.
Can my clients see what is happening on their sites?
Yes. Patrovix includes a branded client portal that gives your clients a real-time view of their sites — current shift status, open incidents, guard tour results, and downloadable activity reports. Clients only see their own data. This eliminates the need to manually prepare and email weekly update reports and differentiates your service offering.
How does scheduling and rota management work?
The scheduling module lets you create rotas assigning guards to specific sites and shift times. Open shifts can be published for eligible guards to apply for. The system tracks shift confirmation, clock-in/out (with GPS), and shift completion. It also includes absence management, event tracking, and demand forecasting to help you optimise staffing levels based on historical patterns.
Is Patrovix available for mobile devices?
Yes. Patrovix is a web-based platform accessible on any device with a browser — no app store download required. The guard portal is optimised for mobile so guards can clock in, log incidents, complete tour checkpoints, and view their schedules from their phone on site. Supervisors and admins can use the full management interface on desktop or tablet.
When will Patrovix launch?
